What happens in US writers’ room?

What is the special creative process that helps them write these addictive and deep TV series?

Can we import parts of it in our french writing habits?

I’m willing to explore the creative process that unfolds in US and Canadian writers’ room.  So I’m flying abroad this summer, to investigate. I’ll be on my own, with my goodwill and my tenacity. Kind of a personal challenge, it is

I’m flying to Montreal first. A one week stay to get in touch with some Canadian screenwriters. They also work in writing teams, as I’ve heard in « Writers talking TV« .

Then I’ll be in Los Angeles for 2 months.

Finally i’ll stay one week in New York. I’ll walk on great movies tracks, looking for screenwriters too.

You know some people working in the cinema over there? Put us in touch : any help welcome.

Besides, this might be a midlife trip, as in midlife crisis. And then, who knows what can happen?
