Do you know the tremendous work done by Pascale Rey, founder of the DreamAgo project and her team?
Pascale loves writing movies, and she loves screenwriters even more. She is one of the few. And as she is a doer, one upon a time, she decided to help writers write the best script they could to make the best films they could. To do so, she set up a creative residency in Sierre, in Switzerland, raising funds, finding incredible consultants and mentors, and mixing people of 3 different languages at least.
This special moment of the DreamAgo project is called « Plume et pellicule ». All the selected projects carry an enlightening vision of life. All of them are not feel good movies. But they all deal with hope. And doing something for the better.
So I applied to the residency last novembre, and luckily enough, my script « les Cigales » has been selected as a runner up : in two weeks, i’m moving in the creative « Chateau Mercier« , which seems a bit of a sorcerers’ school. Cause there is magic going on, over there!
As unlikely as it seems, DreamAgo means even more than this unique international writing residency. That implies : movie screenings in Sierre and in Paris, cinema festivals, writers networks, workshops with shining Maggie Soboil, and to top it all, Pascale helps writers to get to the market, so that their films are actually made! This last part of the DreamAgo project is called « Meet your match », and takes place in… Hollywood.
Believe me, you want to be a part of this!
